The Air Force Services Agency has launched a Web site to help Airmen stay connected, informed and engaged in programs as part of the Year of the Air Force Family.

‘‘The theme of our campaign is ‘The Air Force is a great place to live, work and play.’ Our focus is to make it even better for our Air Force family,” said Col. Sandra Adams, commander of Air Force Services Agency. ‘‘The Web site highlights the core ‘Year of the Air Force Family’ programs and activities.”

Eligible Airmen, families, and friends can visit www.myairforcelife.com to participate in a number of competitions and win instant prizes such as iPod nanos, iTunes cards, AAFES theater passes and more when they register on the Web site.

‘‘Each base has a page on the Web site dedicated to promoting their local YoAFF programs, special events and offerings,” said Carol Sudy, an Air Force Services Agency marketing specialist.

Earlier this year, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz and Secretary of the Air Force Michael Donley designated July 2009 to July 2010 as the Year of the Air Force Family, a yearlong focus on Air Force programs highlighting the importance of, and commitment to, the entire Air Force family: all Airmen, married and single; spouses; children; Air Force civilians; extended families; and retirees.

The Air Force supports Airmen and their families through a wide range of programs, facilities and morale-enhancing activities to maintain their quality of life, health, and well-being. This Web site is one way to achieve this and reach out to the Air Force family.

Myairforcelife.com is an interactive site that highlights Air Force Services Agency’s initiative to ‘‘live, work, and play.”

The Air Force’s official Web site, www.af.mil⁄yoaff, contains news information and programs throughout the Air Force.
