E-Mail This Article Print This Story
The 579th Medical Group at Bolling Air Force Base has H1N1 vaccines available for 579th Medical Group beneficiaries including select military who are in the following high-risk categories:

  • Pregnant women

  • Caregivers of infants younger than 6 months

  • Children 6 months old to young adults 24 years old

  • Adults 25 to 65 years old with chronic medical conditions (such as diabetes, heart⁄lung⁄kidney disease, HIV infection, lupus)

  • Health care workers and emergency services personnel

Because of the limited initial supply, only beneficiaries who fall into one of the above groups will receive the vaccine.

To receive a vaccination, go to the 579th Medical Group Immunizations Clinic during normal business hours, 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

For information, call Lt. Col. Patrick Monahan, chief of medical services, at 202-404-3493.
