St. Maries Musica Dinner and Concert
Start your holiday season off right at the Cedar Point Club on Dec. 9, with a wonderful dinner and ‘‘A Celebration of Season in Song” concert performed by St. Maries Musica. The buffet dinner consists of roast chicken with cranberry glaze, savory cornbread dressing, Chesapeake seafood cakes with Old Bay tartar sauce, sliced beef with mushroom gravy, clam chowder, whipped potatoes, blended rice, steamed fresh vegetables, rolls, fresh garden salad bar, dessert cart, eggnog, iced tea, and coffee. Family Winter Wonderland Dance
All Pax River families are invited to the Rassieur Youth Center on Dec. 11 from 6:30-9 p.m. for a special night of dinner and dancing. The Youth Center will be decked out in holiday style and piano students will provide dinner music. Later, the DJ will change the tone, allowing everyone to boogie down. Dress is night out attire. Snacks with Santa
Bring the whole family out to NRC Solomons on Dec. 12 for a snack with Santa. There will be three ‘‘Snacking Times” 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 1-2:30 p.m. and 3-4:30 p.m. Elves will conduct an arts and craft activity, Ms. Claus will have a sugar cookie for each child to decorate and Santa will make a surprise visit with a small goody for each child. Santa’s Calling
Send a special message to a child this Christmas with a call from Santa. Operators are standing by at the North Pole phone center to put your child’s name on Santa’s telephone list! Registration forms will be available at www.cnic.navy.mil⁄Patuxent⁄BaseSupport⁄Child Services⁄YouthCenter⁄index.htm and can be turned in beginning Nov. 30. Completed forms should be turned in to any of these locations: Rassieur Youth Center, Bowling Center, Theater, Information, Tickets and Tours Office, MWR Admin Office (Bldg. 467), CDC, and the CDC Annex. Deadline to turn in forms is Tuesday, Dec. 15, at noon. Calls will be made on Dec. 16 and Dec. 17, 6-7:30 p.m. (Volunteers Accepted)
