Quantico’s High School Warrior football players share stories from their pastseason before their last game. The team attended the spaghetti dinner pep rally hosted by the Parent Educator Association on Oct. 26 at the Quantico High School.
The Quantico Warrior High School football team slurped down noodles at a spaghetti fundraiser dinner and pep rally for the final football game of the season. The event was hosted by the ParentEducator Association on Oct. 26 at the Quantico High School.
After the students stuffed themselves they were entertained by their cheerleaders. At the end of the event, a raffle was held to giveaway scholastic books.
This is one of many events that has been hosted by the PEA this year.
‘‘The purpose of the PEA is to make recommendations to the principle and support school events,” said Michael Hollier, the Quantico Middle-High School principle. ‘‘PEA has used funds to host spelling bees, and buy materials for the woodshop class and science labs.”
‘‘We supplement teacher and students needs,” said Lanae Waver, the PEA president. ‘‘We have fundraisers to raise money because not everything is in the Department of Defense’s budget. These events also bring the kids and the parents together so they can enjoy a big old spirit night. It’s also a chance for them to get excited for the last football game ofthe season.”
