Internal Climate survey begins at NNMC
The annual Command Climate Survey began this week at NNMC, offering staff members a chance to provide anonymous feedback to the command. Staff members are encouraged to participate in order to help make positive changes possible. Personnel can seek a password from their directorate head, then complete the online survey via a link on the intranet home page.
News & Notes MWR hosts NYC trip
NNMC’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation is taking service members to New York City Nov. 7 for a weekend of fun and sightseeing. The trip is $25 for single E-1 to E-6 only. Sign up at the MWR Info Center near Main Street. For more information, call 301-613-7032. Departure is at 8 a.m. in front of Solace Hall, Building 61.
Security sponsors safety stand down
NNMC’s Security Department will hold a command safety stand down Nov. 24 in the Laurel Clark Memorial Auditorium to highlight holiday safety. This training is mandatory for E-1 to E-6 and is highly recommended for 0-1 to 0-3 and civilian staff members. The training will incorporate various topics, including drug and alcohol abuse, seasonal depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.
