Ghost ship Barry set to scare once again
Have a goulish-ly good time aboard Ghost ship Barry!
Bring the kids on a haunted tour of the Display Ship Barry on Oct. 30, at 6 p.m. at the U.S. Navy Museum.
The Ghost Ship Barry is suitable for children ages 4-9 from 6 .to 7:30 p.m. and will become much scarier after 8 p.m. for ages 9 and up. It is not recommended to bring children under the age of 9 after that time.
This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP to (202)433-0280 is recommended to ensure enough scares for all.
Due to the confines of the ship, please do not wear Halloween costumes, including masks, capes, short skirts or other clothing inhibiting movement, as they will not be permitted on the ship, especially if they limit mobility and vision.
Children and adults must have two hands free to hold hand rails so candy buckets, swords, wands, strollers or other hand held props will not be allowed.
Stop by the US Navy Museum after your tour to create your own Halloween picture frame and trick-or-treat bag!
To attend the tour, please enter the Washington Navy Yard at the 6th and M Street Gate.
