Plan to attend the King George Relay For Life event at King George High School this Saturday, May 17 from noon-midnight. In addition to traditional Relay ceremonies, local bands including Who Took Fred, Beyond the Hype, Desert Highlife and the Chris Bryant Band will perform. NCMA Offers Audio Seminar
The National Contract Managers Association will be offering an audio seminar entitled ‘‘Pricing Basics (Work Design and Analysis)” on May 22 at EG&G Technical Services, 16156 Dahlgren Rd. Check-in is from 11:30 a.m. – noon, audio conference is from noon – 1:30 p.m., followed by open discussion until 2 p.m. Cost is $10 for NCMA members and$15 for non-members. King George High School Bandsto Hold Auction
The King George High School Bands will hold a benefit auction at 6:30 p.m. on May 30 in the King George High School cafeteria. Items to be auctioned include a mini chopper electric bike, $100 Pampered Chef gift certificate, antique silver platters, Lia Sophia Jewelry, chopper bicycle, free haircut from The Hair Place and many more wonderful items! Free food & drink and live music will be provided. A $5 donation at the door will include five door prize tickets. ALL proceeds benefit the competitive events of KGHS Bands.
