Henderson Hall Base GuideMarine Corps Community ServicesFriday, Feb. 29, 2008
Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) shall be continuously poised and ready to listen, learn, and respond to the needs of Marines, their families, and the Marine Corps institution. Marines and the families of Marines, who sacrifice so much for our Nation’s defense, should not be asked to sacrifice quality of life. MCCS has been and will continue to be an advocate for Marine Corps quality of life. We will aggressively seek ways and means to sustain and improve.
The Marine Corps Exchange (MCX) has been proudly serving Marines and their families since 1897. Times have changes, business practices have evolved, and the MCX has grown with the times. The transformation comes at a price. Today, amid the dust and construction, we must remind ourselves and our customers that the pain of transformation and growth is temporary, but the pride in our MCX is forever. Our vision for the MCX in the next five years is to be the customer’s first choice. Remember, profits generated from MCCS business operations are used to fund other MCCS programs such as Semper Fit, Marine & Family Services, and Marine Corps Family Team Building. Money spent at Henderson Hall stays at Henderson Hall.
